About the position

The Sr. Talent Acquisition Specialist at the American Council on Education (ACE) plays a crucial role in the People Team, focusing primarily on talent acquisition. This position is responsible for managing the full life-cycle recruitment process, ensuring a positive experience for both hiring managers and candidates, and promoting a diverse workforce.

Responsibilities

  • Drive day-to-day recruiting operations to attract and retain top talent.
  • Manage full life-cycle execution of recruiting and internal promotion processes.
  • Verify compensation for all offers and promotions in accordance with established frameworks.
  • Develop relationships with hiring managers to serve as a subject matter expert in talent acquisition.
  • Maintain OFCCP compliance and promote a diverse employee population.
  • Manage partnerships with staffing agencies for temporary staffing needs.
  • Design and implement innovative recruitment strategies using social media.
  • Plan and implement talent acquisition training.
  • Collect and analyze data to inform People Team programs and processes.
  • Develop and implement talent surveys to enhance candidate and manager experience.
  • Participate and/or lead special projects to support best-in-class recruiting practices.
  • Utilize and enhance the UKG Recruiting Gateway for an efficient recruitment process.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, psychology, sociology, or a related subject.
  • Five years of relevant experience in talent acquisition.
  • Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Professional, self-motivated, and solutions-oriented.
  • Ability to prioritize and organize workload in a changing environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • PHR or SHRM-CP certification.
  • Experience in a higher education or association environment.
  • Experience using SharePoint, MS Forms, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, OneDrive, UKG, SkillSoft, Qualtrics, Adobe Sign.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary range of $79,777-$99,721.
  • Hybrid work environment with a minimum of 2 days per week in the office.
