About the position
The Senior Tax Accountant at ManpowerGroup plays a crucial role in the preparation and analysis of various tax forms and calculations that support the entire tax lifecycle, including planning, provision, compliance, and controversy. This position involves collaboration with Global Tax colleagues and external advisors to ensure accurate tax compliance for both U.S. and non-U.S. entities, while also providing support during tax audits and utilizing tax research tools for planning opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Global Tax colleagues on tax-related requirements including planning, provision, compliance, and audit support for ManpowerGroup's U.S. and non-U.S. entities.
- Support external advisors responsible for completion of federal, state/local, and international tax forms using OneSource Income Tax compliance software.
- Prepare and/or review statements and disclosures required for tax compliance.
- Analyze quarterly and year-end tax provisions of both U.S. and non-U.S. entities under ASC 740 using OneSource Tax Provision software.
- Support federal, state/local, and international tax audits.
- Use tax research tools to help support tax positions or identify tax planning opportunities.
Requirements
- 2 years' experience in Federal & Multi-State Tax compliance
- Strong service values for both internal and external customers
- Strong correspondence skills across a large, global, matrixed organization
- Demonstrated problem solver who can successfully operate in a team environment
- Proven ability to lead a process and drive process improvements
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel; user level skills with MS PowerPoint
- Experience with large ERP software package
- BA in related discipline
