About the position

The Senior Tax Accountant at 3D Systems is responsible for managing and coordinating the company's tax compliance and preparation of the tax provision. This role requires extensive experience in tax accounting and the ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities. The position aims to ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations while providing support to various departments within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with external accounting firm for preparation of income tax returns.
• Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors for annual audits and other tax-related issues.
• Identify and implement process improvements in tax procedures.
• Assist with the preparation of the quarterly and annual tax provision and related financial statement disclosures under ASC 740.
• Ensure proper documentation and maintenance of tax-related records.
• Stay up-to-date on changes in tax laws and regulations and assess their impact on the company's tax positions.
• Provide tax advice and support to other departments within the organization.
• Work closely with the finance team to support budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Research tax issues and respond to tax notices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• Master's degree in Taxation is preferred.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is preferred.
• 3-7 years of experience in tax accounting.
• In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
• Experience with tax compliance and reporting, tax research, and tax planning strategies.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
