Responsibilities

  • Review, analyze, file, and properly account for all indirect taxes and provide general accounting support on a global platform.
  • Prepare monthly journal entries and reconciliations as part of the monthly closing process.
  • Assist with Veralto tax reporting and data collection.
  • Lead the global process on annual calculation of deferred taxes.
  • Provide guidance to AR and billing teams on sales tax invoicing issues as they arise.
  • Manage annual Veralto income tax package submission process.
  • Negotiate with tax authorities over tax payment matters.
  • Identify tax savings in various scenarios, on a global level.
  • Manage Veralto intercompany accounting and reporting process.
  • Participate in balance sheet reviews.
  • Ensure compliance of assigned SOX and audit areas for general accounting.
  • Serve as primary contact for any SUT audits, providing requested documentation to auditors.
  • Play a leading role in the monthly/quarterly/yearly close process and ensuring all financial reporting deadlines are met.
  • Present and communicate findings to management.
  • Develop and implement process improvements.
  • Responsible for all global tax-related submissions.

Requirements

  • Certified Public Accountant preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum two to five years' experience in accounting.
