The Sr. Tax Director/Partner position at a premier boutique Business Management Firm involves leading the tax team in providing exceptional tax services to high net worth families and individuals. The role emphasizes client management, tax planning, compliance, and team development, with a clear path to partnership within the firm.
Responsibilities
- Serve in a direct client management role, establishing rapport with sophisticated clients.
- Manage the quality, timeliness, and efficiency of client deliverables, including tax return preparation and advisory services.
- Conduct tax planning and research to interpret various tax codes and rulings.
- Provide analysis of financial, gift, estate, and income tax issues for high net worth individuals and families.
- Oversee preparation of individual, partnership, foundation, fiduciary, and gift tax returns.
- Evaluate and analyze accounting software for system upgrades.
- Recruit, train, and develop tax staff, contributing to technical discussions and administrative initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- CPA certification is required.
- MS in Tax is highly preferred.
- At least 7 years of relevant experience in tax and business management.
