About The Position

The Senior Tax Manager will focus on U.S. Tax Planning, International Tax, and Mergers and Acquisitions within eBay's Tax team. This role involves leading various aspects of U.S. international tax and M&A activities, collaborating with multifunctional teams both domestically and internationally, and addressing complex tax issues to support the company's strategic objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in U.S. international tax and M&A.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. tax laws and regulations, particularly in international tax matters.
• Experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects.

Nice To Haves

• Master's degree in Taxation or related field.
• CPA or equivalent certification.
• Experience with tax compliance and reporting for multinational corporations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead mergers and acquisitions, including diligence, signing, closing, and integration activities.
• Identify and resolve U.S. international tax issues related to Subpart F inclusions, GILTI, FDII, foreign tax credits, etc.
• Support tax planning strategies working with multifunctional teams across the organization and with tax advisors in the US and overseas.
• Support the US tax audit team to resolve U.S. international tax and financial products matters.
• Monitor and analyze tax statutory, regulatory, and case law developments and document impact on the Company.
• Work closely with Treasury, Corporate Development, Finance, and Legal teams.
