About the position

The Senior Logistics Technician role at Collins Aerospace involves coordinating accurate and timely delivery of shipments in a fast-paced environment. This position requires collaboration with management, support staff, production teams, carriers, and customers to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and compliance with regulations. The technician will also assist in training and assigning work to support staff, contributing to a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate outbound shipments in accordance with customer expectations and specifications.
• Maintain accurate data and records in compliance with company, DCMA, and Sarbanes-Oxley standards.
• Engage in effective and timely communication with all stakeholders.
• Actively participate in root cause and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage customer integration strategies (VMI/3PL/supermarkets) and import/export controls.
• Ensure strong customer satisfaction levels with on-time delivery, accuracy, and responsiveness.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
• U.S. Person status as defined by regulations.
• Experience in shipping, inventory, or logistics.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with SAP ERP2, WAWF, TMS, EEMS, and/or DCMA eTools.
• Knowledge of export shipment rules/regulations.
• Experience shipping military assets using government shipping software systems.
• HAZMAT certification.
• Excellent communication and organization skills with strong attention to detail.
