About the position

The Senior Technical Program Manager (TPM) for Fire TV Experiences will lead the development of new Linear (Live TV) experiences for Fire TV customers. This role involves significant collaboration with engineering teams, product managers, and project managers to ensure successful product launches. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, project management expertise, and a customer-focused mindset, driving data-driven decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate cross-group efforts to ensure product and engineering teams are prepared for launches.
• Understand platform and service technologies to influence technical architecture and design decisions.
• Advocate for exceptional user experiences in product development.
• Build and maintain mechanisms to track and communicate project progress to leadership.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience working directly with engineering teams.
• 5+ years of experience in technical product or program management.
• 3+ years of software development experience.
• Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams and coordinating release schedules.

Nice-to-haves

• 5+ years of experience in project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk, and critical path management.
• Experience developing and executing product and technical roadmaps.
• Experience managing technical programs across cross-functional teams.
