About the position
The Sr Technical Business Analyst/Data Analyst role is focused on leveraging strong analytical skills and technical expertise to support business needs through effective data presentation and communication. The position requires a candidate who can work independently with minimal supervision, engaging directly with leadership to understand and fulfill their data requirements. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse skill set in data analysis and reporting tools, enabling them to adapt to various technologies and present data in a user-friendly manner.
Responsibilities
- Engage with business leadership to understand data needs and requirements.
- Utilize strong SQL skills to analyze and manipulate data.
- Create and present reports using various reporting tools such as SSRS, MSTR, Tableau, and Excel.
- Demonstrate flexibility in adapting to different technologies and reporting methods based on business needs.
- Exhibit subject matter expertise across a variety of technologies and data presentation techniques.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in a technical business analyst or data analyst role.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
- Strong SQL experience, with the ability to analyze data effectively.
- Experience with reporting tools such as SSRS, MSTR, Tableau, and Excel.
Nice-to-haves
- General-purpose programming experience is a plus, but not required.
