This position requires a comprehensive approach to partner development, focusing on enabling partners to become proactive, profitable, and service-driven "trusted advisors" to their clientele. The Senior Technical Enablement Engineer will be responsible for introducing, demonstrating, and training partners on modern business needs, desired outcomes, market trends, emerging technologies, and high-margin professional services. This role also involves providing thought leadership and strategic guidance to decision-makers and key stakeholders, influencing them to invest in their growth through Ingram Micro's offerings. The ideal candidate will possess advanced badges and certifications in advanced solutions technology categories, showcasing a high level of executive presence, business acumen, sales acumen, and technical expertise. Responsibilities

  • Proactively introduce, demonstrate, and train on modern business needs and desired business outcomes.
  • Identify market trends and opportunities, and present emerging technologies, vendors, and products.
  • Enable partners to become proactive, profitable, and services-driven trusted advisors to their end-user clientele.
  • Provide thought leadership and strategic advice to decision-makers and key stakeholders to influence their investment decisions.
  • Drive a consultative partner relationship focused on results and comprehensive partner development.

Requirements

  • Cisco Security and Cisco Collaboration knowledge, with a primary focus on Security.
  • Experience in sales engineering, enabling partners to deliver Cisco solutions to end customers.
  • Extensive experience and knowledge of the Partner Channel and Cisco.
  • Strong training and presentation skills.
  • Specialist in technical or business skills with a customer-focused approach.
  • Four-year college degree or additional relevant experience in a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of Enablement Engineering experience, including at least 3 years of Cisco Security specific experience.
  • Ability to contribute significantly to processes and systems.
