About the position

The Sr Technical Manager HR Technology is a pivotal role at Labcorp, responsible for managing the Learning Management System (LMS) integrations, specifically with the Cornerstone/SABA platform. This position ensures the LMS is compliant, functional, and user-friendly while collaborating with various stakeholders to enhance the learning experience. The successful candidate will troubleshoot technical issues, manage user access, and optimize the LMS platform to meet organizational needs.

Responsibilities

  • Configure, customize, and test the Cornerstone SABA learning system including system settings, user management, permissions, automated workflows, course assignments, integrations with other systems, and reporting.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex learner and vendor-related system technical issues, including error messages, login difficulties, data issues, and process failures.
  • Work with the HR Tech Integrations team to maintain and troubleshoot data feeds between the LMS and other organizational systems.
  • Lead research, configuration, and testing of system enhancements and vendor updates.
  • Create and maintain project documentation, including training plans, testing plans, standard operating procedures, and process flow documents.
  • Evaluate processes to implement efficiencies and eliminate manual processes, standardizing and streamlining business and system processes.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure data accuracy and integrity across organizational systems and compliance with privacy regulations.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements for system enhancements and innovative solutions.
  • Create specific dashboards for trainers and admin roles and report templates as necessary.
  • Test and troubleshoot web-based training, understanding SCORM and AICC standards.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support while completing work in a timely and accurate manner.

Requirements

  • 5 years of experience in the administration of a learning management system, with Cornerstone CSOD / SABA experience preferred.
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience in Instructional Design, Learning & Development, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a similar field.
  • Familiarity with SFTP and API processes and tools.
  • Prior experience using Cornerstone/SABA.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet project deadlines.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Experience using Excel and spreadsheet management.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and database management.
  • Project management skills and experience managing LMS implementation or upgrades.
