About the position

The Sr. Technical Operations Analyst / Production Support position is a long-term opportunity based in Alpharetta, GA, with a hybrid work model. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field in Digital Information Technology. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in application development and production support, particularly in UNIX/Linux environments. This includes a strong focus on Java development support, shell scripting, and Oracle operations, with a proven track record of troubleshooting production applications across both lower and upper multi-tier environments. Candidates must possess full life-cycle development experience in a technology-driven environment, preferably within the financial services or banking sectors. The role demands strong technical expertise in Unix/Linux, Apache, and application servers such as WebSphere, WebLogic, or JBoss. Familiarity with Oracle Golden Gate, batch scheduling systems like Control-M and Autosys, and NoSQL databases such as Couchbase, Cassandra, and MongoDB is essential. Additionally, knowledge of cloud technologies, particularly Azure and Pivotal Cloud, as well as Kafka technology, is required. The position also necessitates experience with monitoring tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, and Extrahop, and proficiency in web services (SOAP/REST/JSON/AMQP/XML). Candidates should be skilled in shell scripting languages including Sed, AWK, Python, Bash, and Ruby, and have experience with data query languages like SQLDeveloper and Perl/SQL. A strong understanding of multi-tier architecture and infrastructure configurations is crucial, along with experience in Agile and DevOps environments. Knowledge of ITIL production support best practices is also a key requirement. Responsibilities

  • Provide production support for applications in a multi-tier environment.
