About the position

The Sr. Technical Product Manager for AWS Proactive Security is a high-impact leadership role focused on ensuring that all AWS services meet security standards at launch and in production. This position involves strategic and operational leadership to enable AWS service teams to meet security requirements efficiently. The role emphasizes collaboration between AWS service teams and security teams, utilizing automated detection products to monitor and evaluate security controls throughout the product lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Understand customer and stakeholder needs
• Analyze quantitative and qualitative data to support planning and prioritization
• Collaborate with software development teams to design, scope, build and launch features
• Build, maintain and communicate the product roadmap
• Balance competing priorities and make decisions that accelerate the team's velocity

Requirements

• Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
• Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
• Experience managing technical products or online services and advocating for critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning
• 5+ years of end-to-end product delivery experience and ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Bachelor's degree

• Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight
• Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools
• MBA
