About the position

The Sr. Technical Product Manager for Deployment Readiness at Amazon Robotics plays a crucial role in shaping the strategy for robotics deployment solutions. This position focuses on supporting the product roadmap for Deployment Readiness services, ensuring that Amazon can deliver large-scale robotics solutions efficiently. The role requires collaboration across various disciplines to prioritize initiatives and track metrics that quantify the impact of programs on cost savings and deployment efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Support the product roadmap for Deployment Readiness initiatives, services, and programs
• Track metrics to quantify the impact of programs on Cost Savings, Deployment Efficiency, and Scalability
• Facilitate collection and analysis of data for quantification of benefits to Deployment
• Partner closely with technical leads to assess the business impact of new initiatives and recommend best options to management based on quantified benefits, costs, and operational impacts
• Manage competing priorities across a wide range of stakeholders, ensuring time is focused on the highest value activities and issues
• Drive the rhythm of business activities for the Deployment Readiness org

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical, Physics, Operations Research, Finance, or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of experience with program management, tracking complex schedules, and allocating resources
• Experience working across teams, defining program requirements, and optimizing cross-team processes to improve efficiency and delivery
• Confidence operating independently and working with ambiguity
• Ability to deliver in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Experience bridging technical and business teams to collect and refine requirements, prioritize incoming work requests, and ensure all committed work is delivered on time
• Industry experience devising metrics, tracking goals, and analyzing business impact of programs/initiatives
• Ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, schedule trade-offs, and evaluate new concepts with technical leads
• Able to travel throughout North America and Europe up to 25% of the time
