About the position

The Technical Product Manager (PM-T) role at Amazon involves supporting the product roadmap for Robotics Deployment Readiness services. This position is crucial for shaping the strategy of key services that enable large-scale robotics deployment solutions. The PM-T will focus on customer needs, drive prioritization across disciplines, and ensure that initiatives align with the company's goals for efficiency and scalability.

Responsibilities

  • Support the product roadmap for Deployment Readiness initiatives, services, and programs
  • Track metrics to quantify the impact of programs on Cost Savings, Deployment Efficiency, and Scalability
  • Facilitate collection and analysis of data for quantification of benefits to Deployment
  • Partner closely with technical leads to assess the business impact of new initiatives and recommend best options to management based on quantified benefits, costs, and operational impacts
  • Manage competing priorities across a wide range of stakeholders, ensuring time is focused on the highest value activities and issues
  • Drive the rhythm of business activities for the Deployment Readiness org

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical, Physics, Operations Research, Finance, or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with program management, tracking complex schedules, and allocating resources
  • Experience working across teams, defining program requirements, and optimizing cross-team processes to improve efficiency and delivery
  • Confidence operating independently and working with ambiguity
  • Ability to deliver in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience bridging technical and business teams to collect and refine requirements, prioritize incoming work requests, and ensure all committed work is delivered on time
  • Industry experience devising metrics, tracking goals, and analyzing business impact of programs/initiatives
  • Ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, schedule trade-offs, and evaluate new concepts with technical leads
  • Able to travel throughout North America and Europe up to 25% of the time
