About the position

As a Senior Technical Product Manager for Service Reliability at Albertsons Companies, you will be responsible for ensuring the resilience, scalability, and availability of Supply Chain applications and services. This role involves driving the vision and execution of reliability strategies while collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance system reliability and reduce downtime. Your expertise in product management and service reliability engineering will be crucial in delivering solutions that improve user experience and meet business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Define, maintain, and communicate a long-term strategic roadmap with clear delivery milestones.
  • Oversee requirement analysis and solution design sessions to establish project scope linked to real-world use cases and business ROI.
  • Collaborate closely with technical teams, including data scientists and data engineers, to implement functional solutions.
  • Lead the product team to influence necessary organizational and operational changes, owning product usage KPIs.
  • Build strong professional relationships with sponsors, customers, partners, and developers, acting as the voice of the customer.
  • Engage and evangelize SRE practices with development, operational, and product groups to align technology service delivery.
  • Manage availability, latency, scalability, and efficiency of Supply Chain applications, focusing on fault-tolerant approaches.
  • Drive quality accountability within the organization with defined processes, metrics, and goals for process quality.
  • Implement metrics-driven processes to ensure service quality targets are met.
  • Drive improvements to incident response and on-call procedures.
  • Collaborate across Product & Engineering to establish SLOs, SLIs, and SLAs.
  • Drive adoption of best practices in monitoring, alerting, chaos testing, and resiliency.
  • Track gaps, incidents, and productivity metrics to improve with engineering and operations teams.
  • Drive capacity planning, performance analysis, and other non-functional systems requirements.

Requirements

  • Broad expertise and knowledge of supply chain, including challenges, emerging technologies, and industry trends.
  • Proven experience designing and driving solutions with a track record of positive results for supply chain operations.
  • Previous experience as a supply chain consultant is advantageous.
  • Ability to harness data to solve real-world problems; preliminary knowledge of data science and data engineering is key.
  • Significant Product Management experience in technical Application Development.
  • Expert knowledge of Project Management Methodology and Tools (e.g., MS Project, Visio, Agile, SDLC).
  • Strong interpersonal and social skills to gather information from others.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to influence others.
  • Strong people management skills and expectation management abilities.
  • Ability to collaborate across various groups and manage effectively in a matrix organization.
  • Ability to motivate teams and coach, mentor, and train Product owners and IT support managers.
  • Expertise in process evaluation and selection of products, tools, services, and infrastructure components.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary range of $174,000 to $226,000 annually, with flexibility for exceptional candidates.
