The Sr. Technical Product Manager at Blue Origin plays a pivotal role in shaping the digital infrastructure that supports the company's mission of advancing space technology. This position involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop innovative products that enhance user experiences and drive adoption within the organization. The role requires a strategic vision and leadership to define and execute product strategies from ideation through launch and scale, ensuring alignment with customer needs and business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and articulate a clear product vision and strategy that aligns with customer needs and Blue Origin's mission.
• Champion the customer's voice throughout the product lifecycle by engaging with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
• Own the product roadmap, making data-driven decisions to prioritize features and enhancements based on customer needs and business impact.
• Collaborate closely with UX, engineering, and customer teams to deliver high-quality products on time and within budget.
• Proactively identify potential risks to product performance and lead efforts to mitigate them.
• Lead cross-functional teams to ensure successful product development and launch, acting as a product evangelist.
• Coordinate product and feature releases, defining release criteria and ensuring readiness across all teams involved.
• Define, monitor, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and inform decisions.
• Maintain clear communication with stakeholders, providing regular updates on product progress and changes.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives by evaluating product processes and leading ongoing product discovery activities.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies to inform product strategy.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field; MBA preferred.
• 4-6 years of product management experience with a proven track record of managing products through their lifecycle.
• Strong experience with Lean, Agile, and Scrum methodologies, and proficiency with tools like JIRA and Confluence.
• Experience working closely with UX design and software engineering teams, with the ability to understand technical concepts.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills for data-driven decision-making and product prioritization.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for conveying complex ideas to diverse audiences.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.
• Strong customer empathy and a passion for building exceptional customer experiences.
