About the position

The Sr. Technical Product Manager is responsible for the strategic value, usability, and performance of technology solutions. This role involves managing the product lifecycle from conception to launch, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring that product specifications meet customer needs and business requirements. The position requires strong leadership and communication skills to influence stakeholders and drive product success in a remote work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assume end-to-end responsibility for the strategic value, usability, and performance of solutions.
  • Influence key stakeholders in design and planning decisions.
  • Manage prioritization and trade-offs among experience, scope, and time to market.
  • Work closely with frontend/backend engineering teams, design, and stakeholders in an agile environment to deliver solutions to market.
  • Proactively identify and resolve strategic issues to help the team meet business, financial, and technical goals.
  • Manage backlog planning and development through collaboration with a cross-functional team.
  • Develop detailed user stories with acceptance criteria based on customer needs and business requirements.
  • Work with UX Research to design usability and research studies to inform product requirements.
  • Own and manage the backlog, ensuring readiness for sprints/iterations.
  • Define and analyze metrics that measure and benchmark solution success.
  • Drive product launches in collaboration with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
  • Play an active role in optimization and process improvements for software systems.
  • Provide leadership, technology guidance, and mentorship throughout the domain.
  • Demonstrate superior product and industry knowledge.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of Technical Product Management experience in complex, technologically progressive environments.
  • Strong experience with building application programming interfaces (API) and consumer-facing solutions.
  • Understanding of distributed systems, cloud computing, and microservices architectures.
  • Experience working with frontend/backend engineering teams in an agile environment.
  • Experience with UX Research to inform product requirements and design.
  • Extensive experience developing detailed user stories with acceptance criteria.
  • Strong experience soliciting business requirements for product specifications and architecture.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Masters' Degree preferred.
  • Experience in Retail Pharmacy or Healthcare domain preferred.
