About the position

The Senior Technical Product Manager at HealthEquity will play a crucial role in innovating and executing technical product initiatives within the Software Engineering organization. This position focuses on enhancing the technology foundation for HealthEquity's product offerings, particularly in the health reimbursement account domain. The role involves collaboration with various internal teams to build a roadmap that aligns with the company's vision for a robust and scalable technology platform.

Responsibilities

• Engage with internal teams to identify opportunities for platform reliability and operational efficiency.
• Drive consensus and prioritize the technical services initiative roadmap using data.
• Own the technical product vision and strategy across the Product Development Lifecycle.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and engineering teams to maintain product roadmaps.
• Develop technical product specifications including value, use cases, and features.
• Deliver non-functional requirements such as performance and security.
• Create release plans and coordinate prototypes with necessary resources.
• Define product performance KPIs and iterate to improve success measures.
• Document requirements and ensure technical requirements are understood within Agile processes.
• Coordinate vendor review and selection, guiding the relationship throughout implementation.
• Clarify requirements and remove obstacles for Software Engineering.
• Ensure delivery of roadmap features aligning with organizational definitions of done.
• Provide updates on products and key projects to senior leadership.

Requirements

• Degree in an engineering field, computer science, or relevant technical experience.
• Deep knowledge of technical software development processes.
• 3 years of professional experience as a technical product manager or similar roles.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills for diverse stakeholders.
• Strong analytical skills to process data into actionable information.
• Experience working in an Agile environment.
• Background in querying databases and data migration strategy.
• Understanding of APIs, CI/CD pipelines, and service-oriented architecture designs.
• Microservice design or cloud infrastructure experience (preferably Azure) is a plus.
• Experience in at least one programming language (Java, C#, Python, Golang, etc.) is a plus.
• AzureDevOps experience (or similar tool) is a plus.
