About the position

The Sr. Technical Product Marketing Manager, Demo Storytelling, is responsible for creating and delivering compelling product narratives through innovative demonstration environments. This role combines creative storytelling with technical insight to effectively showcase the 8x8 Platform for Customer Experience (CX) to diverse audiences, including executive buyers and technical evaluators. The position emphasizes the development of engaging demo strategies that highlight real-world use cases and customer pain points, moving beyond traditional demo formats.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and own the strategy for creating engaging and impactful demo environments that align with go-to-market campaigns and product launches.
  • Craft product narratives that address real-world use cases, pain points, and benefits.
  • Build, configure, and manage demo environments to support various storytelling needs across personas and industry verticals.
  • Establish scalable processes and document demo configurations to enable replication by other teams.
  • Partner closely with Product, Sales, Marketing, and Engineering teams to ensure alignment with broader messaging and product roadmap.
  • Align all demos with the 8x8 brand and corporate messaging, selecting visuals and spoken details to reinforce key messages.
  • Train sales teams, partners, and stakeholders to deliver demos effectively, scaling talents across the organization.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage technology and automation to enhance demo environments and engagement.

Requirements

  • 8+ years in product marketing, sales, sales engineering, technical communications, or related fields with a strong focus on demos and storytelling, ideally with a SaaS solution provider.
  • Ability to quickly grasp complex technologies and autonomously build demo environments from scratch.
  • Proven experience crafting narratives that communicate use cases and value propositions without standard approaches.
  • Meticulous attention to detail to ensure high-impact and purpose-driven demos.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop impactful demo environments that align with company messaging.
  • Creative thinker who can navigate ambiguity and develop engaging storytelling ideas.
  • Proactive and resourceful, able to master new tools quickly and build scalable demo assets with minimal supervision.
  • Skilled in documenting demo configurations and training materials for team enablement.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, or a related field; technical certifications are a plus.
