About the position

The Sr. Technical Program Manager for AWS Global Sales - Atlas will lead and deliver significant technical initiatives aimed at enhancing the Global Startup Operations team. This role involves close collaboration with engineering, science, and product teams to develop a Startup-focused roadmap, manage vendor relationships, and ensure data integrity for startup-related data. The position requires strong leadership in prioritizing initiatives, managing risks, and making informed trade-offs to meet business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with business and product stakeholders across multiple business and technical teams to deliver product goals and milestones
  • Act as a voice for AWS's world-class selling and field teams, ensuring customer-obsessed experiences
  • Collaborate with product management, science, and engineering teams to identify technical requirements and bottlenecks
  • Own status update mechanisms like weekly business and metrics reviews
  • Manage data sourcing, vendor management, and data hygiene programs for Startup focused data

Requirements

  • 7+ years of technical program management experience working directly with software engineering teams
  • Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams, building processes, and coordinating release schedules
  • 5+ years of analytical, quantitative, communication, and presentation experience

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or equivalent
  • Experience defining KPIs/SLAs used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership
  • 3+ years of working with Startup data, like Crunchbase and CBInsights
  • 5+ years of project management experience including scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk, and critical path management
