About The Position

The Sr. Technical Program Manager for Customer Logistics Security at Amazon is responsible for driving the Identity and Access Management (IAM) strategy and execution globally within Amazon Worldwide Operations. This role requires a dynamic leader who can translate business needs into scalable technology solutions while managing complex projects and ensuring compliance and security across various stakeholders. The position is highly visible and involves delivering IAM solutions that support the vast network of fulfillment centers, ensuring effective security without compromising customer service.

Requirements

• 5+ years of technical product or program management experience.
• 7+ years of experience working directly with engineering teams.
• 5+ years of technical program management experience with software engineering teams.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with at least one common identity protocol (Oauth, OIDC, SAML, or FIDO).

Nice To Haves

• 5+ years of project management experience including scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk, and critical path management.
• Experience managing projects across cross-functional teams and coordinating release schedules.
• Experience defining KPIs/SLAs for multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with identity best practices in identity lifecycle management, authentication, authorization, and privileged access management.

Responsibilities

• Lead the definition, design, and delivery of IAM products and services within Worldwide Operations.
• Engage with stakeholders to ensure compliance, security, and cross-functional requirements are met.
• Design solutions for foundational IAM principles including multi-factor authentication and least privilege access.
• Communicate product vision, user stories, plans, and project status to management and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with software development and engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Develop monitoring and reports on the health and effectiveness of IAM services and products.
• Evangelize IAM projects across Amazon to build relationships and identify complementary technologies.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate risks while balancing business needs and constraints.
