About the position

The Sr. Technical Program Manager for Device Ad Products & Personalization at Amazon is responsible for driving complex, cross-organization goals to deliver innovative advertising experiences on Amazon devices and services. This role requires strong technical skills, collaboration with various teams, and the ability to manage projects from inception to rollout, ensuring alignment with business needs and technical constraints.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical planning, coordination, architecture, and implementation of multiple projects within a program.
• Manage the full lifecycle of a project, including technical requirements, system design planning, stakeholder alignment, implementation, and production rollout.
• Collaborate with Program Managers, Product Managers, and engineers to execute complex and highly-technical projects.
• Interface with multi-discipline teams and build relationships with partners across Amazon, including Advertising core stack, FireTV, Prime Video, and Alexa.
• Collect requirements, write detailed functional and test specifications, and coordinate efforts to scope, schedule, and deploy new features.

Requirements

• 5+ years of technical product or program management experience.
• 3+ years of software development experience.
• 5+ years of technical program management experience working directly with software engineering teams.
• Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams, building processes, and coordinating release schedules.
• Experience building and evaluating system-level technical design.
• Experience developing and executing/delivering product and technical roadmaps.

Nice-to-haves

• 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience.
• Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership.
