About the position

The Infrastructure Foundational Services team at Amazon is responsible for building services and tools that provide the necessary computing resources for Amazon's software teams. This role focuses on minimizing operational burdens for engineers and ensuring that internal software teams can efficiently grow while managing infrastructure needs. As a Technical Product Manager, you will collaborate with various stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions and ensure the team is aligned with its mission to support AWS global infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Deliver end-to-end workflows for internal software teams.
• Collaborate with Technical Product Managers, Software Development Managers, business partners, and infrastructure teams.
• Drive innovative solutions to improve customer experiences.
• Ensure the team is moving in the right direction as part of the leadership team.
• Manage programs across cross-functional teams and coordinate release schedules.

Requirements

• 5+ years of technical product or program management experience.
• 7+ years of experience working directly with engineering teams.
• 3+ years of software development experience.
• 5+ years of technical program management experience with software engineering teams.
• Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams.

Nice-to-haves

• 5+ years of project management experience including scope, schedule, budget, and quality management.
• Experience defining KPIs/SLAs for multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership.
