About the position

As a Senior Technical Program Manager in the IT Product and Development team at Amazon, you will be responsible for defining product vision, strategies, and roadmaps for IT product suites. This role involves managing complex projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and enhancing productivity through innovative solutions that improve customer experiences.

Responsibilities

• Drive and deliver multiple complex projects simultaneously within product management and development teams.
• Provide project leadership, anticipate bottlenecks, and mitigate project risks.
• Quantify the impact of tradeoffs and balance business needs against technical constraints.
• Work closely with stakeholders to identify and drive innovative solutions that achieve business goals.
• Build mechanisms to accelerate the deliveries of development teams and deliver value to customers.
• Manage cradle-to-grave product lifecycles and implement go-to-market plans.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition.
• Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product.
• Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product.
• Experience managing technical products or online services.
• Experience representing and advocating for critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight.
• Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools.
