About the position

The Sr. Technical Program Manager at AWS Kumo is responsible for driving SDLC delivery excellence and partnering with product teams to implement innovative cloud computing solutions. This role involves managing critical cross-organizational projects, ensuring adherence to industry-leading delivery performance, and enhancing customer experiences through the use of advanced cloud and AI technologies.

Responsibilities

• Define, fine-tune, and drive adoption of mechanisms and tooling for SDLC management and delivery.
• Implement the right inputs, outputs, and KPIs to achieve outstanding business and delivery outcomes.
• Partner with product, software engineering, and Applied Scientist teams to deliver cohesive user experiences across GenAI tools.
• Drive the rollout of tooling and mechanisms to improve operational performance and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• 5+ years of technical product or program management experience.
• 7+ years of experience working directly with engineering teams.
• 3+ years of software development experience.
• 5+ years of technical program management experience with software engineering teams.
• Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams and coordinating release schedules.

Nice-to-haves

• 5+ years of project management experience including scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk, and critical path management.
• Experience defining KPIs/SLA's for multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership.
