About the position

The Technical Program Manager will play a crucial role in the North America Sort Centers (NASC) Engineering Team, focusing on enhancing the middle-mile network that connects Fulfillment Centers to Last Mile delivery. This position requires a blend of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a passion for developing high-performance teams through effective goal-setting and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing complex projects, developing strategies, and ensuring efficient execution of programs that directly impact customer experience and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Work with key stakeholders to develop a strategy and roadmap that provides compelling capabilities and helps meet our business goals.
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures, performance metrics, and feedback mechanisms.
  • Own complex planning, resource balancing, and financial modeling for initiatives and programs.
  • Responsible for the overall development lifecycle of complex projects spanning multiple teams.
  • Establish KPIs to track impact of programs, including cost savings, deployment efficiency, and scalability.
  • Prioritize actions across stakeholders, develop a clear RACI to drive accountability, and ensure focus on the highest value activities.
  • Partner with leaders and engineers in the NASC Engr organization to deliver new and innovative products to the NASC network.
  • Work with stakeholder teams to determine the appropriate escalation, review process, and resolution for delivery blockers.
  • Provide requirements and 'voice of the customer' feedback to development and support teams.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
  • 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
  • 3+ years of software development experience
  • 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
  • Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules.

Nice-to-haves

  • 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
  • Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
  • Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership.
