About the position

The Sr. Technical Program Manager (TPM) at Amazon's Operations Technology Solutions (OTS) is responsible for driving enterprise-level IT solutions and managing large-scale, cross-functional programs. This role combines strategic oversight with hands-on execution, requiring expertise in Agile methodologies and program management best practices. The TPM will innovate on behalf of customers, build effective solutions, and ensure successful delivery while balancing business needs with technical constraints.

Responsibilities

• Manage programs, identify and mitigate risks, and clear project blockers.
• Hold teams accountable for delivery and ensure quality testing of features.
• Handle releases and post-launch monitoring.
• Understand the larger business picture and technical requirements of the solutions being built.
• Partner with managers to secure resources and set project priorities.

Requirements

• 5+ years of technical product or program management experience.
• 5+ years of technical program management experience working directly with software engineering teams.
• Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams and coordinating release schedules.
• Bachelor's Degree.

Nice-to-haves

• 5+ years of project management experience including scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk, and critical path management.
• Experience defining KPIs/SLAs for multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership.
• Expertise in business analysis and analytic tools/languages like SQL, Excel, Tableau, PowerBI.
