About the position

The Senior Technical Program Manager for the Platform at Vimeo is responsible for driving complex cross-team technical projects, resolving blockers, and enhancing team processes. Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineering teams to craft and implement quarterly roadmaps aligned with Vimeo's strategic vision.
• Break down complex projects into manageable phases and communicate progress to stakeholders.
• Foster teamwork across multiple engineering teams, identifying and resolving dependencies to keep projects on track.
• Implement metrics and monitoring systems to track team performance and address potential issues proactively.
• Guide vendor selection and management to enhance Vimeo's technological capabilities.
• Lead the implementation of new services and programs, ensuring smooth transitions for teams and stakeholders.
• Introduce and refine Agile practices to empower teams for efficient and iterative delivery.
• Champion a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging teams to learn, adapt, and innovate.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience as a Program Manager, with roles in Agile such as Scrum Master, Product Owner, or Coach.
• Technical background to facilitate deeply technical discussions.
• Experience working closely with multiple engineering teams for planning and product execution.
• Proven track record of implementing new processes across teams and managing change effectively.
• Experience defining metrics and data collection within Jira consistently.
• Configured and managed Jira workflows and company-managed boards.
• Deep understanding of Agile and Lean values and principles.
