About the position

The Sr. Technical Program Manager for Amazon's Store Rendering Tech team will lead the transformation of software upgrades across numerous web applications at Amazon scale, utilizing Generative AI and code transformations. This role is pivotal in shaping the technical direction and defining platform products that enable rapid innovation for Store Builders, ultimately enhancing the customer experience. The candidate will focus on reducing the costs associated with rendering framework upgrades, allowing teams to access new software seamlessly and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Drive large scale projects spanning teams across Amazon from inception to conclusion, formulate the product vision, define user stories, research appropriate technical solutions.
• Clearly communicate vision, plans and project status to Amazon executives and key technical and business stakeholders.
• Work closely with the software development team on delivering high-quality solutions, and provide guidance regarding architecture, design, and priorities.
• Identify, assess and mitigate risks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make trade-offs balancing the business needs versus constraints.

Requirements

• 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
• 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
• 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
• 3+ years of software development experience
• Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management
• Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses.
