About the position

The Sr. Technical Project Manager for Thermal Systems & Attributes at Lucid Motors is responsible for leading the planning and execution of thermal attributes and systems in luxury electric vehicles. This role involves collaboration with engineering, program management, and senior management teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects that enhance cabin comfort and powertrain cooling. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating strong organizational and communication skills while managing complex multi-system products from concept to production.

Responsibilities

• Champion, create, maintain, and communicate plans covering thermal attributes and systems.
• Utilize waterfall and agile planning tools to develop schedules, define key milestones, and identify dependencies.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to define and track deliverables for cabin comfort and powertrain cooling.
• Organize test trips and attribute sign-offs at the vehicle level.
• Drive key engineering decisions, highlighting blockers and critical paths.
• Support the development of schedules for various short-term projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent technical field.
• 6+ years of experience in automotive, thermal systems, or equivalent.
• Strong organizational and self-discipline skills to manage tasks on a timeline.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to a dynamic environment.
• Experience leading complex multi-system products from concept to production.
• Ability to integrate summary level and detailed schedules.

Nice-to-haves

• PMP certification is a bonus, but relevant experience preferred.
• Understanding of the physics and thermal systems of electric vehicles.
• Proficient in SmartSheets, Jira, Microsoft Project or similar planning tools.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
