About the position

The Sr Technical Project Manager at Donaldson will lead crucial innovation projects and programs, managing a diverse mix of research and development initiatives. This role involves collaboration with various internal and external resources to ensure successful project execution, contributing to the company's mission of solving complex filtration challenges.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects concurrently providing leadership for cross functional global project teams
• Lead project planning, scheduling, budgeting, troubleshooting, and coordination of projects from ideation through proof of concept and transfer to business
• Manage and coordinate internal and external activities while ensuring good customer relations and representing the interest of Donaldson
• Communicate project status and progress to Management, including the CEO, senior leadership, and key stakeholders
• Build relationships with key stakeholders, team members, and vendors to enable successful outcomes
• Promote safety & facilitate equipment deployment by applying industry standards in procurement requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field
• 5+ years project management experience
• Demonstrated leadership qualities, project management skills, and fluent with project management frameworks, methodologies, and tools

Nice-to-haves

• Successful track record of interaction with senior level professionals to drive business outcomes, resolve issues, and build consensus
• Experience managing Innovation projects
• PMP, or other program management certification
• Presentation skills and ability to communicate at all levels
• Ability to effectively manage the interaction of vendors and customers
