About the position

The Senior Technical Project Manager will oversee and manage technical projects within the IT security domain, specifically focusing on mission planning and support for Special Operations. This role requires a deep understanding of military command structures and the ability to enhance mission planning processes through automation and effective project management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage technical projects related to IT security and mission planning.
• Develop processes and techniques to improve the mission planning environment.
• Utilize automated tools to support and execute Special Operations roles for mission planning.
• Coordinate with various teams to ensure successful execution of mission plans.
• Provide tactical support and guidance based on operational experience.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related discipline; or equivalent technical training and experience.
• In-depth knowledge of the Unified Command structure, joint doctrine, and joint policies.
• Minimum of 7 years operational experience in navigation and mission planning techniques.
• Experience with mission planning computer systems and communications.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 certification or higher (e.g., Security +).

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with customer-specific planning and execution software applications.
