About the position

As a Senior Technical Recruiter at Anduril Industries, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our talent acquisition strategy. Anduril is a defense technology company dedicated to transforming military capabilities through advanced technology. Your primary responsibility will be to manage the full-cycle recruiting process for technical roles, ensuring that we attract and retain top-tier talent in a rapidly growing environment. You will collaborate closely with engineering leaders and sourcers to define hiring needs and execute strategies that align with our mission. This position is open for a 6-month contract, providing you with the opportunity to make a significant impact in a short time frame. In this role, you will act as a subject matter expert in various prospecting techniques and tools, including information retrieval, data extraction, and candidate management. You will conduct interviews with potential candidates, demonstrating your ability to anticipate hiring manager preferences and maintain a high interview-to-offer ratio. Engaging passive candidates through platforms like LinkedIn Recruiter and utilizing Boolean strings will be essential to your success. You will also be responsible for driving diverse talent into the organization, ensuring a positive candidate experience at every touchpoint. Building talent maps to generate market insights will inform your engagement strategy, and you will represent Anduril's brand both internally and externally, leveraging internal resources to effectively communicate our value proposition.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a subject matter expert in prospecting techniques and tools used for information retrieval, data extraction, web-scraping, continuous process improvement, process automation, and candidate management.
  • Conduct interviews of potential candidates, demonstrating ability to anticipate hiring manager preferences through high interview-to-offer ratios.
  • Engage passive candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean strings, referrals, and SOBO campaigns.
  • Drive diverse talent into the organization ensuring a positive candidate experience at every touchpoint.
  • Build talent maps to generate market insights to inform your engagement strategy.
  • Represent the company's brand and recruiting team internally and externally.
  • Leverage internal resources to build strategy around selling our value proposition.

Requirements

  • 5+ years full-cycle recruiting experience for technical roles & engaging top tier talent.
  • 5+ years of client interaction experience, including working with Hiring Managers, taking new requirements, reviewing profiles and updating pipeline progress.
  • Experience acting in a consultative manner where your guidance has led to improved outcomes, and a positive candidate experience, while earning the respect of your peers and clients.
  • Clear and effective communication with candidates to understand motivation, drivers, and fit within the organization.
  • Experience managing various funnels of candidates and keeping track of their progress throughout the recruitment process.
  • Are self-sufficient and are able to work with little direct supervision.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience working at an agency or fast-paced startup environment.
  • Experience recruiting for electrical engineers, manufacturing engineers, mechanical engineers, or technicians.
