About the position

Analytical Mechanics Associates, Inc. (AMA) is seeking to hire a highly skilled Sr. Technical Recruiter to join our team to assist in locating candidates for our growing organization. This position will report to the Human Resources Director. The ideal candidate will have experience in sourcing, recruitment, and human resources, along with an in-depth knowledge of the screening, interviewing, and hiring processes. We are seeking someone who is passionate about discovering untapped talent, driving company growth, and helping people develop successful careers. Telework is an option for this position; however, the candidate must be able to support Pacific and Mountain Standard Time business hours. The salary for this position is between $70,000 and $115,000 and is commensurate with experience, education, and geographic location.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with hiring managers to gain a comprehensive understanding of AMA's hiring needs for every role, and to meet competitive hiring goals and expectations.
  • Manage the full recruiting lifecycle across a variety of open roles, assisting managers to find, hire, and retain quality candidates in scientific and engineering roles.
  • Source and identify qualified candidate profiles using various sourcing techniques (e.g., Boolean search).
  • Screen resumes and manage job candidates throughout the hiring process, from initial contact to final-offer negotiation.
  • Partner with Senior Recruiter and senior managers to design, refine, and implement innovative and proactive recruitment strategies.
  • Develop relationships with managers to build awareness of their departments, hiring needs, and job specifications.
  • Create and post job descriptions and announcements and remain active on relevant job boards (Indeed and LinkedIn), social networks, and platforms for locating quality candidates.
  • Utilize knowledge of multiple recruiting sources and execute innovative strategies to find quality candidates.
  • Maintain and update database of candidate records, including active and passive prospects, hires, terminations, and other designations.
  • Represent AMA at career fairs.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years' experience with recruitment and human resources.
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in human resources management or related field.
  • Must have prior experience working for a Federal Government Contractor or Federal Government.
  • Must have experience and working knowledge of Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) regulations.
  • Experience with recruiting candidates for scientific and technical/engineering positions is required.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, decision-making and follow-up skills required.
  • Advanced knowledge of applicant tracking software such as TALEO, database management, and internet search methods required.
  • Experience with sourcing candidates on multiple platforms such as job boards and social media.
  • Proven success in conducting interviews using various methods (phone, video, email, in-person).
  • Desire to grow professionally with networking and ongoing training opportunities.
