About the position

The Senior IT Recruiter at Robert Half Technology is responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and placing IT candidates in various roles. This position requires a strong understanding of the technology industry and the ability to build relationships with candidates and clients. The recruiter will work in a fast-paced environment, focusing on candidate recruitment, retention, and placement activities to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Source, evaluate, and review potential IT candidates using various methods including cold calls, job boards, and social networking.
• Interview prospective IT candidates to assess their skill set, work history, and salary requirements.
• Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified IT talent for current and future client needs.
• Select well-matched candidates to fulfill client job orders and maintain ongoing contact with IT professionals on assignment.
• Resolve customer service issues quickly and efficiently to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Generate leads and market intelligence to enhance new client development efforts.
• Maintain relationships with candidates to gain industry knowledge and obtain referrals and new business opportunities.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in an IT-related field, preferably as a technical recruiter.
• Broad familiarity with foundational technology concepts including IT Technical Support, network administration/engineering, Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Project Management, and Business Analysis.
• Strong desire to build a career in recruiting with proven negotiating and closing skills.
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced dynamic environment with a sense of urgency.
• Proven track record of success as a competitive, self-motivated individual.
