About the position

As a Sr. Technical Recruiter within Micron Technology's Technology and Products Group, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our workforce by managing relationships with hiring teams and ensuring a seamless interview process. Your primary responsibility will be to source and engage with passive candidates, ultimately building a robust technical talent pipeline to fill critical positions within the company. You will lead intake meetings with hiring managers to gain a comprehensive understanding of job requirements and develop strategies to attract top-tier talent. This includes crafting and posting technical job descriptions using tools like Textio, as well as sending personalized outreach emails to engage potential candidates through platforms such as Eightfold and LinkedIn Recruiter. In addition to sourcing candidates, you will parse specialized skills and qualifications to effectively screen technical resumes and conduct pre-screening calls to assess candidates' abilities. Promoting Micron's reputation as an employer of choice will be a key aspect of your role, as will understanding and documenting key performance indicators (KPIs) relevant to your recruiting efforts. Staying current with technological trends and products will also be essential, as you may need to support recruiting efforts across multiple locations as required. This position is a long-term contract opportunity, with a strong preference for candidates located in Boise, ID. Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Proven track record as a Technical Recruiter.
  • Experience in the semiconductor industry.
  • Experience recruiting for highly skilled engineers and technicians for semiconductor or related industries.
  • Ability to understand and explain job requirements for technical roles.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage relationships with hiring managers and within the talent acquisition team.
  • Proficient in MS Office and modern Applicant Tracking Systems.
  • Solid knowledge of sourcing techniques and platforms.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's in human resources, Business or related field of study.
  • Combination of experience and education (without a degree) will also be considered.
