Cognizant is seeking a Senior Technical Writer with a strong background in Aerospace to join our team. The Senior Technical Writer will be responsible for writing and editing comprehensive technical documentation for all project hardware and software, which includes installation guides, configuration manuals, and how-to documentation. In addition to creating user-friendly documentation, the candidate will also be tasked with producing code documentation for software, as well as implementation guides and end-user guides that detail the capabilities of the products. The role also requires the creation of visual aids such as diagrams, charts, and graphs to effectively communicate complex information. Maintaining a comprehensive library of technical terminology and documentation, analyzing documents for continuity of style and content, and managing updates and revisions to technical literature are also key responsibilities of this position.
