About the position

As a Senior Technical Writer specializing in API writing at Cribl, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between product development, design, and our customers. Your primary responsibility will be to create and maintain high-quality documentation for our API and SDK, ensuring that it is clear, concise, and user-friendly. This role is essential as thousands of users rely on our documentation daily to maximize their use of Cribl products and to address complex IT and security challenges. You will collaborate closely with engineers, product managers, and designers to gather information and insights that will inform your writing. Your technical expertise and passion for learning will be crucial as you navigate the rapidly evolving landscape of our products and the needs of our users. In this position, you will not only be responsible for writing and editing documentation but also for developing a deep understanding of our products and the technical concepts behind them. You will engage with users to gather feedback on documentation usability and effectiveness, using this information to continuously improve the content. Your role will also involve creating tutorials, guides, and other educational materials that enhance the overall developer experience. As a remote-first company, you will have the flexibility to work from anywhere, but you will be expected to maintain strong communication and collaboration with your team members to ensure alignment and success in your projects.

Responsibilities
