About the position

AMDEX is seeking a skilled Technical Writer to join our team, specializing in managing multiple documentation projects simultaneously. This role is crucial for ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards across various documentation types. The Technical Writer will be responsible for developing clear, concise, and well-organized documentation while also improving existing documents to ensure compliance with established standards. The scope of documentation includes memos, procedures, guidance materials, reports, and technical documents such as business requirements, test results, and responses to data calls. In this position, the Technical Writer will translate complex technical information into easily understandable content tailored for diverse audiences, including both technical and non-technical stakeholders. The role involves creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation sets, such as process manuals, user guides, and compliance reports. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional writing and editing skills, demonstrating a proven ability to produce documentation that is not only clear and concise but also well-organized. Attention to detail and the ability to collaborate effectively with subject matter experts to gather information and ensure accuracy are essential for success in this role. This position is contingent on contract award, and the successful candidate will be part of a seasoned full-spectrum data solutions firm that delivers insights, strategies, data analytics, and technical expertise to accelerate data modernization. Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple documentation projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
  • Develop clear, concise, and well-organized documentation.
  • Improve documents developed by others to ensure compliance with standards.
  • Translate complex technical information into easily understandable content for various audiences.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation sets, such as process manuals, user guides, and compliance reports.

Requirements

  • 5+ years demonstrated experience in Technical Writing.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, with a proven ability to produce clear, concise, and well-organized documentation.
  • Attention to detail and a strong ability to work collaboratively with subject matter experts to gather information and ensure accuracy.
