About the position

The Sr. Territory Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales and promoting Hubbell Wiring Device-Kellems products through distribution channels to end-users and specifying influences. This role focuses heavily on building contractor relationships and achieving assigned sales quotas within the Louisiana and Mississippi territories, particularly in New Orleans. The position requires effective management of time and company resources to meet sales objectives and involves training distributor personnel, conducting sales presentations, and maintaining strong communication with the District Manager and other stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Manage an assigned territory to achieve sales objectives.
  • Conduct sales calls on distributors and potential users of Hubbell products.
  • Train distributor personnel to effectively sell and promote Hubbell products.
  • Manage distributor inventory to ensure proper stock levels.
  • Conduct sales training within the district and region as directed by management.
  • Deliver formal sales presentations to various groups and end-users.
  • Communicate issues, opportunities, and successes to the District Manager.
  • Service distributors and end-users to create demand for products.
  • Build strong relationships with distribution, end-users, and specifying influences.
  • Cover open territories as assigned by the District Manager.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of industry experience in sales or related field.
  • Proficient in computer skills including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, TEAMS, Salesforce, SAP Concur Solutions, and PowerBI.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
