About the position

The Sr Territory Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales and promoting Burndy products through distribution channels to end-users and specifying influences within the assigned territory of Western Pennsylvania and Northern West Virginia. This role involves managing sales objectives, conducting training, and building strong relationships with distributors and end-users to maximize sales performance and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Manage an assigned territory to achieve sales objectives effectively and efficiently.
  • Conduct sales calls on distributors and potential users of Burndy products.
  • Train distributor personnel to sell and promote Hubbell products and manage distributor inventory.
  • Maintain accurate account records using TMS/Electronic TMS.
  • Conduct sales training for internal and external stakeholders as directed by Field Management.
  • Deliver formal sales presentations to various groups, distributors, and end-users.
  • Communicate issues, opportunities, and successes to the District Manager.
  • Service distributors and end-users while creating demand for the company's products.
  • Build rapport and strong relationships with distribution, end-users, and specifying influences.
  • Cover open territories as assigned by the District Manager.
  • Act as a customer information center for literature, catalog requests, and technical details.

Requirements

  • College degree required and 3+ years of related industry sales experience, or a High School diploma with 5+ years of related industry sales experience.
  • Contractor sales experience is a plus.
  • Industry experience required.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
