About the position

The Sr Territory Sales Manager is responsible for the sales and promotion of Burndy products through distribution channels to end-users and specifying influences, aiming to achieve assigned sales quotas within the designated territory of Western Pennsylvania and Northern West Virginia. This role involves managing relationships with distributors and end-users, conducting sales training, and maintaining accurate account records.

Responsibilities

  • Manage an assigned territory to achieve sales objectives.
  • Conduct sales calls on distributors and potential users of Burndy products.
  • Train distributor personnel to sell and promote Hubbell products.
  • Manage distributor inventory to ensure proper service levels and maximize ROI.
  • Maintain accurate account records using TMS/Electronic TMS.
  • Conduct sales training within the district and region as directed by field management.
  • Deliver formal sales presentations to various groups, distributors, and end-users.
  • Communicate issues, opportunities, and successes to the District Manager.
  • Service distributors and end-users while creating demand for the company's products.
  • Build strong relationships with distribution, end-users, and specifying influences.
  • Cover open territories as assigned by the District Manager.
  • Serve as a customer information center for literature and technical details.

Requirements

  • College degree required and 3+ years of related industry sales experience, or a high school diploma with 5+ years of related industry sales experience.
  • Contractor sales experience is a plus.
  • Industry experience required.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
