About the position
The Sr. Test Analyst position is focused on ensuring the quality and functionality of software applications through comprehensive testing processes. This role involves direct interaction with customers, requiring strong communication skills and the ability to understand user requirements. The analyst will be responsible for test planning, execution, and defect tracking, utilizing various testing tools and methodologies to deliver high-quality results.
Responsibilities
- Conduct test planning and execution for software applications.
- Perform defect tracking and requirement analysis to ensure quality standards are met.
- Engage in customer-facing interactions to gather requirements and provide updates on testing progress.
- Utilize test tools such as SolMan Test Suite, HPALM, TFS, RQM, or other QA tracking tools for effective testing management.
- Implement automation testing practices where applicable.
Requirements
- Proven experience with SAP Financials, preferably with TRM.
- Strong background in web-based testing and customer interaction.
- Experience in test planning, execution, defect tracking, and requirement analysis.
- Familiarity with test tools such as SolMan Test Suite, HPALM, TFS, RQM, or similar QA tracking tools.
- Preferred experience in automation testing.
