About the position
The Senior Ground Test Engineer will execute MDA systems engineering processes for THAAD ground test events, ensuring that test planning and data generation align with Missile Defense System requirements. This role involves leading various test events through all phases, conducting analyses to support system development, and maintaining analytical tools. Clear communication and technical presentation skills are essential for this position.
Responsibilities
- Lead THAAD Ground Test, Flight Test, and other events through all phases: planning, pre-mission, on-site, execution, and post-mission analysis.
- Conduct studies and analyses to support THAAD system development, testing, and operation.
- Develop defense designs for ground tests, flight tests, wargames, exercises, and real-world deployments.
- Maintain tools to support analysis efforts.
- Deliver technical presentations for senior leadership.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in a relevant field.
- Ability to obtain a Top Secret Clearance.
- Understanding of MDA System Engineering.
