About The Position

The Sr. Tester position at Privateer IT involves rigorous testing of software developed for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. The role focuses on ensuring functionality, reliability, and user experience through both automated and manual testing processes. The successful candidate will collaborate with developers and other team members to create test plans, execute test cases, and document results, while also automating security and performance testing within a DevOps pipeline. This position offers the flexibility of remote work within the U.S.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience with functional testing, regression testing, performance testing, or system integration testing.
• 2+ years of experience with Agile methodologies.
• 2+ years of experience with test automation tools, including Selenium or JMeter.
• Experience with applications deployed in a Mobile environment.
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as JavaScript, Java, Python, PHP, Ruby, or Bash.
• Knowledge of DevOps and automation frameworks, including Jenkins.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance.
• Bachelor's degree.

• Collaborate with testers, developers, and engineers to improve software quality.
