About the position

The Sr. Transaction Manager at JLL plays a crucial role in managing and executing complex land transactions that support low carbon capital projects for a key client. This position involves strategizing, evaluating, and executing real estate transactions while fostering strong client relationships and ensuring successful project outcomes. The role requires collaboration with various professionals and a proactive approach to client service, all while being embedded within the client's real estate group.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and execute complex land transactions for low carbon capital projects.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Assume key transaction responsibilities for strategic clients.
  • Provide expert advice on client transactions and improve transaction management processes.
  • Attend regular client meetings and conference calls to discuss transaction progress.
  • Support and manage the execution of a high volume of transactions annually.
  • Collect client requirements and conduct market analysis to inform decision-making.
  • Negotiate contracts including ground leases, option agreements, and purchase and sale agreements.
  • Prepare approval packages for senior management and produce financial analyses to support strategy development.
  • Coordinate with the client's GIS team for customized mapping and reporting needs.
  • Review commission invoices for accuracy and ensure timely payments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree is required.
  • 5+ years of transaction management experience, preferably with Fortune 500 companies.
  • Proven land transaction experience with strong negotiation skills.
  • Experience working with corporate clients in a fast-paced environment.
  • Solid understanding of financial and accounting impacts related to transactions.
  • Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Excellent analytical, collaboration, organization, and planning skills.
  • Ability to interpret and communicate business intelligence and data analytics.
  • Outstanding client service skills and proven ability to collaborate across teams.
