About the position

The Sr UI Developer will play a crucial role in the development of a new agent-facing platform and the enhancement of an existing platform for Insight Global's insurance client. This position requires collaboration with a team to design, develop, and maintain web applications tailored to the needs of insurance agents, emphasizing mobile-first and responsive design principles.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications for insurance agents.
• Collaborate with team members to create user-friendly interfaces.
• Implement mobile-first and responsive design principles in applications.
• Consume REST/SOAP APIs and conduct API testing using JSON and Postman.
• Utilize cloud-based CDN services for application deployment.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in UI web development.
• Expertise in JavaScript frameworks (Angular/TypeScript), NPM, HTML, CSS, Angular CLI, Git, RxJS.
• Experience in developing responsive applications with HTML5, Material/Tailwinds, CSS3.
• Strong experience with Karma and Bootstrap.
• Experience with JWT, OAuth, OpenID, and SAML.
• Familiarity with mobile development including iOS, Android, and ReactNative.
• Experience in the auto insurance industry is preferred.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Progressive Web Applications (PWA).
