About the position

The Sr UI/UX Designer will be responsible for leading the design process for user experiences in the medical device industry. This role requires a strong background in UX design, with a focus on effectively communicating design concepts and collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions. The designer will utilize various design tools to create and present detailed designs and research findings, ensuring that user needs are met throughout the product development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design process for user experiences in medical devices.
• Utilize design tools such as Figma, Principal, and Miro to create and present designs.
• Effectively communicate design vision and concepts both verbally and visually.
• Conduct user research to inform design decisions and validate concepts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on design goals and user needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in UX Design or a related design field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a UX Design role.
• 2 years of experience in the medical device or related industry preferred.
• 2 years of demonstrated experience as a User Experience lead for new product development.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong creative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
