About the position

The UI/UX Front-End Software Engineer at Praxis Engineering will serve as the technical lead for multiple software development teams, focusing on creating innovative solutions in the cyber technology domain. This role involves selecting appropriate software development processes, recommending new technologies, ensuring quality control, and delegating responsibilities among team members to meet complex project requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develops, maintains, and enhances complex and diverse software systems based on documented requirements.
• Works individually or as part of a team to review and test software components for adherence to design requirements.
• Documents test results and resolves software problem reports.
• Utilizes appropriate software development and design methodologies for the development environment.
• Provides input to system design, including hardware/software trade-offs and requirements analysis.

Requirements

• Twenty (20) years of experience as a Software Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, or four (4) years of additional SWE experience in lieu of a degree.
• Front end development experience with Flutter, React, Kotlin, and Java.
• Experience in UI prototyping (wireframes, etc.).
• Agile experience.
• Experience using standard formats such as Protobuf and JSON.

• Cross-platform UI experience.
• Test automation/DevOps experience.
• Complex data analysis/visualization skills.
• UI experience in full stack development.
